Q. When does admission process commence in the college?

A. The admission process for UG/PG programmes commences from July-August.

Q. What are the documents required for admission?

A. On the date of admission, applicants shall bring the following documents:
1. Online Application Form
2. Photocopy of 12th marksheet (self-attested)
3. Photocopy of 10th marksheet (self-attested)
4. Photocopy of Aadhar Card
5. Transfer Certificate
6. Caste Certificate (OBC/SC/ST)
7. Migration Certificate
8. Passport size Photographs

Q. What are the visiting hours for admission in the college?

A. 10:00 am to 03:30 pm

Q. Can a student apply for UG/PG programme in absence of 10+2/Graduation Final Year Result?

A. Yes, a student may apply provisionally but need to produce original marksheet at the time of admission.

Q. Does the college provide scholarships to the students?

A. Yes.

Q. Is attendance compulsory for the students?

A. Yes, a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for the students.

NEP-related Queries

Q. What are the changes in UG courses?

A. The new National Education Policy is giving many options under the UG Course structure. These are:
• Certificate after one year
• Advanced diploma after two years
• Bachelor degree after three years
• Bachelor with research after four years

Q. What is Multiple Entry and Exit for UG Course?

A. If a student exits from a degree at any point of time during the course, then they are not required to start from the first year of UG course again, they have the option of getting back and starting from where they left the course.

Facilities

Q. What are the facilities provided on campus in terms of services to the students?

A. Students are provided with a well-equipped library, sports equipment, water coolers and canteen facility. In addition, internet access is provided to all the students on-campus.

Q. Is there hostel facility for students?

A. No.

Q. What are the facilities provided on campus to differently-abled students?

A. Ramp and railings are created on the campus to cater to the special needs of the differently abled persons. The college also provides wheelchair to the students in need. In addition, the eligible students are allotted someone to read or write (scribe), or a separate exam venue.

Q. Does the college offer extra-curricular activities for students?

A. The college conducts various extra-curricular activities. The college also has active units of the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), and Rover/Ranger.

Q. How can a student join NSS/ NCC/ Rover/Ranger?

A. The student shall meet the eligibility criteria to join NSS/NCC/Rover/Ranger. For registering in a particular program, the student shall meet the respective Programme Officer.

Q. Can I join two or three of these organizations at the same time - NSS, NCC, Rover/Ranger?

A. No. You can register to only one of these organizations at one point in time.
