Every year thousands of students pass out of the college and distinguish themselves on various national platforms. To provide library facilities to its students, faculties, and staff, the college has a magnificent two-story library building established in 1974 which covers 7998.16 sq Feet of carpet area besides 04 departmental libraries. The Hon’ble Governor of U.P. Sri Akber Ali Khan formally inaugurated the Library. It has a collection of over 60,000 books and other reading materials for organizing and maintaining its collection and catering to its users' services. It has sufficiently trained library staff. To Provide the necessary library services and facilities the Central Library has more than 07 staff members which include well qualified college Librarian. The Central Library Dayanand Vedic College, Orai has to cater to the needs of more than three thousand students, its faculty members, and staff. The College has 19 departments that run Under Graduate (UG)and Post Graduate (PG) programs in all the disciplines of Arts, Science, and Teachers Education. In addition to the above facilities the College offers to facilitate the Ph.D. programs also to Research Scholars, which is being executed on the campus in almost all the (PG) departments of the college. Keeping in view the fast trends of Globalization, the Application of Information, and Computer Technology in each and every sphere of life, the college is committed to providing modern facilities to the students at par with other National Institutions, by providing modernized facilities for accessing literature available in various disciplines. It is proposed to create a Modernize Library with all modern facilities. To do so Dayanand Vedic. The college has decided to automate and modernize the library and its services.
The college has a central library which was established in 1974. Most of the funds for upgradation of the library were received from the Department of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh. As our college is a Government institution(Added College), The college received Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, Gandhinagar is an Autonomous Inter-University Centre (IUC) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in January 2009. In addition, partly automation by Soul 2.0 Software is also installed in the college library.
