The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established in 1994 as an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The vision statement of NAAC mandates incorporating quality assurance into the functioning of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
The key purpose of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is to focus on improving standards of quality in terms of its performance related to the educational processes and outcomes, teaching-learning processes, innovative research, and student services. As the philosophy of NAAC is based on objective and continuous improvement, the college strives to maximize its resources, opportunities and capabilities to promote the holistic development of the students. Keeping this in view, the NAAC Committee of the college has been actively working on setting new benchmarks in the enhancement and sustenance of quality education.
